  • Virheen tehnyt pelaaja lyö aina uudelleen kaikissa virhetilanteissä, mikäli vastustaja pyytää 

Scotch Doubles

Scotch Doubles is an alternate shot format where one player takes one shot, and their partner takes the next shot and so on. Scotch Doubles is a variation of Four-handed Snooker where the official Rules of the Game of Snooker apply with the following variations:

1. In a Scotch Doubles game (four players constituting two sides of two players) each side shall start alternate frames. Each team will decide the order of play for their team at the start of each. The order of playing alternative strokes will remain until the end of the frame. At the conclusion of each frame and before the next frame commences, players are allowed to change the order.

2. During a break, players from the same team play their strokes alternately in one turn (e.g. player 1 pots a red, player 2 then pots a colour, player 1 a red), and so on until the end of the break.

3. After any foul is committed and a request to play again is made, the player who committed the foul plays the next stroke and the order of play remains unchanged. If a request is made by the non-offender to play again, it will not end the non-offender's turn.

4. If the striker´s partner commits an infringement, the striker will be considered as the offender.

5. If a foul is called for playing out of turn, the offender´s partners will lose a turn, whether or not the offender is asked to play again.

6. Partners may confer or communicate during a frame but not while one is the striker and has approached the table until their turn has ended.

7. Playing out of turn is a foul (value of the ball on) when no higher infringement occurs.

8. If scores are level and a re-spotted black is required, the team scoring the winning points will choose on the toss of the coin. Teams can then choose the order for play until the end of the frame.

HUOM! Aiempina vuosina on ilmennyt, että sääntökohtaa 3. ei ole aina noudatettu jos

  • on missin jälkeen pyydetty jatkamaan valkoisen uudesta sijainnista

  • on pussittanut valkoisen ja vastustaja pyytänyt jatkamaan D-alueelta

  • on mennyt "ei sallittu" kohdepallo pussiin ja vastustaja luovuttanut lyöntivuoron virheen tehneelle joukkuelle

Eli mikäli vastapuolen joukkue pyytää virheen jälkeen pelaamaan uudelleen, niin lyönnin suorittaa AINA virheen tehnyt pelaaja. Tämä koskee kaikkia virhetilanteita. 

Arvioitu aikataulu:

Lauantai klo 10 - 22

  • kolme pöytäkierrosta, last 24, last 16 ja last 8

Sunnuntai klo 10 - 18

  • kaksi pöytäkierrosta, semifinaalit + finaali

ILMOITTAUTUMINEN päättyy keskiviikkona 16.9. klo 21

Ilmoittautuminen tapahtuu biljardi.org -sivustolla. Luo tunnukset, joiden avulla ilmoittaudut/perut osallistumisesi jatkossa kätevästi kaikissa SBIL:n kilpailuissa.
